www.smilingwoodsyurts.com

This is the site that got us interested in the yurts. I've been in steady contact with Michael of smiling wood yurts. He's been great to work with. Check out his site to learn more about the wooden panel yurt.

First Camping trip with the new pop up :)

I was chatting with a long time customer a couple weeks back, a camper by nature. To make a long story short, he told me that he thought this would be the last season he and his wife were going to be using the pop-up which I'd seen in and out of his driveway over the last 5 years. His hopes were to find a family that would be able to put it to good use. As you'll see below, we turned out to be that family. If you read this, thank you Joe, we're humbled by your generosity. I look forward to making it up to you with labor around the yard.

This labor day weekend we had the chance to spend a couple refreshingly cool nights on the land. Nanny and Bumpa stopped by for dinner, and we were able to stake out the leach field to get a better idea of the finish grades, and located where the house will sit.

Sophia enjoyed herself, and so did we:) We relaxed, ate well, and got familiar with the noises surrounding the lot. The cows in the abutting property with bells around their necks, we will learn to love, I hope...
